The West Virginia Legislature is a bicameral legislative body, which means that the Legislature is split between the upper Senate and the lower House of Delegates. The Legislature convenes in the state capital building in Charleston, WV.

The House of Delegates is composed of 100 members from 67 delegate districts throughout the state. Delegates serve two-year terms with all of the seats in the House up for election every two years.
